Hey Guys!
Many of you have gotten your packs already and we're stoked to hear how happy you are with them!
We've heard from a few people who's tracking hasn't updated yet. If you're in the same boat, keep reading.
Our fulfillment center delivers shipments in bulk directly to major shipping hubs so the tracking numbers won't update until they get there, even though it's been moving for a few days. So, don't worry if yours hasn't updated yet. The orders that are being delivered already were shipped out on Monday of last week and were being shipped to Utah or nearby states. Orders went out from Monday to Thursday so if your tracking hasn't updated it was likely sent out later in the week and might need a few business days to update.
If a couple more days go by and it still hasn't, please reach out to us directly at [email protected] so we can look into it.
For Shipments Outside the US
It sounds like there are a few people who are having problems tracking their shipment. If you're having problems tracking your order, try copying and pasting your tracking number here (your tracking # starts with GM*******):

That should give you the most up to date tracking details. Please keep in mind that there will be a delay in tracking once your shipment reaches your country. It usually takes a few days for shipments to make it through customs.

Get The Most Out Of Your Backpack
This backpack is like nothing else out there and does A LOT. We put together a short overview of the pack to explain how to get it set up for adventure and highlight some of the main features and functions.
We hope this helps you make the most of your backpack, so it can help you make the most out of your adventures.
By the end of the day today, you should all have an order confirmation email with order information and tracking details. If you don't see it by tomorrow, be sure to check your spam and other folders. You can always try searching Wanaka Outdoors to find it.

The time has finally arrived!
Our container full of backpacks has arrived and is being unloaded and organized as we speak.
We're doing some quality control checks to make sure everything is in tip-top shape (so far so good!) and then they will be packaged and shipped your way. You can expect to see a tracking notification in your email on Monday or Tuesday. Tracking can take up to 48 hours to update so don't be concerned if you don't see your tracking information right away.

Quick Production Update:

Hey Backers,
We will keep it short, but just wanted to give everyone an update on where things currently sit. As we mentioned in our last update, the bags are estimated to arrive to our fulfillment center at the end of April (April 26th to be exact).
From there, we have arranged to expedite the fulfillment process and have all orders shipped in less than 36 hours, and on their way to you all.
Just a reminder, if you have yet to fill out your survey, PLEASE DO SO. We need all backers to fill out the survey if you want to get your backpacks.

Hey guys,
Hope you are all getting ready for a spring full of adventures, travels, and fun. We definitely are!
Your backpacks are in queue to be put on a boat and sent our way from Vietnam. We went with a shipping company who has a customs facility away from the madness of the Long Beach/LA shipping port. They’re a little bit more expensive to ship with but doing so decreases the chances of getting held up in customs for examinations. Still, the shipping time varies between 20-30 days because of potential delays with freight sorting and customs.
So… we’re getting close! We expect them to land at our fulfillment center in Utah by the end of April. We have everything ready to go to and we’ll get every order shipped out within 2-3 days of them arriving here.
We realize this is behind our ETA and we’re so sorry about that. As we mentioned in a previous update, the fabric was 3 days off from being ready by Chinese New Year. This put us back in the production queue since they didn’t have all the fabric to start production on our backpacks when they got back from CNY. So, production lines were filled by orders that were ready to go and we had to wait for those orders to finish. Being 3 days off set us back a couple weeks. That's the nature of production. Frustrating... but fair.
We’ll default to quality, every time.
We could have cut corners all along the way to speed up production by using stock fabric and materials, but for us, choosing quality materials over production time wasn’t a hard decision. We hope you guys are on the same page there. Our gear is made, and will always be made to last adventure after adventure. We will choose quality over cost or production time, every time. This priority on quality is what made us choose the materials we used, the raw material suppliers, and our production partner. They make products for some of the biggest names in the outdoor industry and our suppliers supply the materials for many of them.
I guess what we’re saying is we truly are sorry for the delays, but the top-quality backpacks you’ll get will be worth the wait.
